Swansea City have signed Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony to beef up their strike force for the upcoming season.
Swansea defender Gary Monk knows him very well, he said last time he played against him; he bounced off him, and dislocated a finger.
“He is a formidable strong man, something that will be an advantage for us as defences struggle against his physical presence.”
Wilfried is also known to have a powerful shot against goal, and has been known to almost break nets. He scored 46 goals last season for the Dutch side Vitesse, but has asked his manager and the supporters to give him time to settle in the premiership before he fully gets going.
They will need Bony if they are to either avoid another relegation battle, or to fight for mid table status in the new season.
