Swans trio miss out again

Swansea will again be without Alan Tate, Neil Taylor and Andrea Orlandi for the visit of Colchester in the FA Cup. Vice-captain Tate serves the final match of his three-game suspension having already sat out of the New Year`s Day victory over Reading and Monday`s defeat at Leicester. Fellow left-back Taylor has this week been ruled out for a month having received scan results on an ankle injury sustained against the Royals. Manager Brendan Rodgers could line up as he did at the Walkers Stadium with right-back Angel Rangel switched across to the left and youngster Ashley Richards starting in his place or use Albert Serran in the left-back slot. Midfielder Orlandi, meanwhile, has been ruled out for around two weeks with a slight thigh strain also sustained in the 1-0 win over Reading, although Rodgers is not short of options in midfield. After a hectic festive period, whether the Northern Irishman opts to rotate his ranks again for the visit of the League One outfit remains to be seen.
