Swans star to miss Seagulls clash
Allen picked up a hamstring injury in Saturday's defeat at Leicester but he would not have faced the Seagulls in any case as he was due to be on international duty with Wales Under-21s.
Defender Ashley Williams will also be absent against Russell Slade's side as he is away with Wales for their friendly against Montenegro on Wednesday.
Summer signing Jordi Lopez looks set to start in place of Allen while Stephen Dobbie, another new recruit, is in line to start after being on the bench against the Foxes.
Full-back Angel Rangel could also be promoted from the bench following Saturday's disappointing defeat.
Long-term casualty Ferrie Bodde remains on the sidelines with a knee injury while Darren Pratley (shoulder) and Thomas Butler (hernia) also miss out again.
