The 22-year-old centre-back, who has had two trials with the Swans in the last two years, has signed a three-month deal after being granted a work permit. Abu Bakr, who has five international caps, told the club's official website: "I am absolutely ecstatic to get my chance here and can't wait to get going. "The move happened quite quickly but I'm really looking forward to the challenge." The former Caledonia AIA man is determined to convince Swans boss Paulo Sousa he is worthy of a contract extension to run beyond the initial three months.
