Swans desperate to keep Gomez

The 23-year-old is on a season-long loan from Spanish side Espanyol and has proved a big hit at the Liberty Stadium. The Spaniard's form has prompted rumours that Scottish giants Celtic are interested in the Spaniard but Jenkins is hopeful he will be a Swansea player once again next season. "I don't know what Jordi might be worth or if Celtic or anyone else are interested in him," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post. "He is not our player so I wouldn't expect to know. But we would like to have Jordi back. "If there's a chance of him leaving Espanyol, we would pursue every angle to bring him to Swansea City."
