Swans chief: I told you so

Trundle rejoined Swansea on-loan on Thursday, two years after leaving for the Robins in a £1million switch. Jenkins told BBC Sport: "I always said perhaps they'd play a system that didn't suit him, which I'm not going to say I'm happy about, but I was proved right." Jenkins has also strongly played down the prospect of extending Trundle's loan deal beyond January 1. "We've got to take it one step at a time," he continued. "I think that with the injuries and suspensions we've got we had to get a few players in. "And I think that (Trundle) was there to be done, just to help us over the next few months and at the moment that's all we're looking at."
