Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale is unlikely to join Barclays Premier League new boys Swansea, according to Swans chairman Huw Jenkins.

The 25-year-old has has been linked with a move to Swansea, but Brendan Rodgers' side have already secured the signature of Benfica keeper Jose Moreira and Jenkins believes it is unlikely Stockdale will be following him to the Liberty Stadium.

"We've made enquiries there," he told Sky Sports News. "It doesn't seem there's anything on the Fulham side that they want to make a deal happen, so it's looking unlikely that that's going to happen. But we're pursuing other options and we hope we're going to get something concluded again over the next seven to 10 days."

Stockdale has also been linked with a loan move to hometown club Leeds, but Fulham refused to comment on that possibility when contacted by Press Association Sport on Wednesday.
