Former Stockport man Williams captained Wales for the first time against Scotland on Saturday and was also named Wales' Player of the Year last week.[LNB]The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Wigan to join up with former Swansea boss Roberto Martinez and Sousa believes the influential centre-half would be at home in the top flight.[LNB]"I don't have any doubts about clubs watching him." Sousa told BBC Sport. "He can play in the Premier League, of course, as I recognise other players in the Premier League are not better than him."[LNB]Williams recently signed a new contract at the Liberty Stadium and although Sousa is eager to keep the influential centre-half, he insists he would not stand in the player's way if he wanted to leave.[LNB]He added: "I think of the player first. If these things happen and it is good for him and then I'll be very happy for him."[LNB][LNB]
