Serran has bright future - Martinez
Serran has made three Carling Cup appearances and also featured in the FA Cup third-round win over Histon, but Martinez could give the Spaniard his league debut against Ipswich this weekend.[LNB]He told the South Wales Evening Post: "Look at the number of games Angel [Rangel] has played for us since he signed and you see what a reliable character he is.[LNB]"But even without him this weekend, we have the options in our squad to come in and do a good job.[LNB]"Albert has played in the cups for us and he is a player who has had to adapt from the way he played in Spain. It's been a learning curve for him, but I would say he has been ready for around six weeks and it's great to have a player of his quality pushing the others.[LNB]"Albert is someone who we signed with the long-term in mind and I think he will go on to be a very important player for this club."[LNB][LNB]
