Rodgers takes positives
Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers admitted his side need to be more clinical in the final third after they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Hull.
But Rodgers, taking charge of the Swans for the first time, felt his team could take plenty of positives despite going down to John Bostock's 30-yarder and Ian Ashbee's close-range strike.
Rodgers said: "I think people who see Swansea regularly would say that's the norm, in terms of controlling and dominating the game.
"The team will dominate possession, but in those moments you have to score. We know what we need to do, we've got a great squad here and we just need to find that formula that allows us to go and turn a lot of our good play into goals. I'm confident we'll be able to do that.
"We've been beaten by a world-class strike and a disappointing one from a corner. There are always positives, I'll try to reflect on those and move on."
