Rodgers sings Sinclair's praises

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers hailed the goalscoring prowess of Scott Sinclair after the striker grabbed a late winner to sink Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium. The Welsh club had appeared to be in danger of failing to capitalise on their dominance against a Boro side that barely registered as an attacking threat. Sinclair, called up to the England Under-21 squad earlier this week, had failed to find the target from close range while Joe Allen, Ashley Williams and Nathan Dyer also failed to convert presentable chances. Sinclair will now travel to join up with Stuart Pearce's side, along with the unlucky Steele who had made a string of sharp saves before being beaten by that late winner. And Rodgers said: "Scott is a talent that I know (from Chelsea) and it is nice that he has come in and done so well. "He is a great talent and the goal was a terrific goal, it was a good move."
