Rodgers: Bodde to sign new deal
Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed midfielder Ferrie Bodde is close to agreeing a new contract.
The 29-year-old Dutchman, whose current deal at the Liberty Stadium expires this summer, has not featured for the Swans since February 2010 because of ongoing knee problems.
He is now working his way back to full fitness having featured in a training match this week, although he will not be considered for a first-team return until next season.
Rodgers told the South Wales Evening Post: "Ferrie is close to agreeing a new deal and I am delighted to see him back."
