Robins wants Tykes reinforcements
The Championship strugglers were second best on Saturday against Paulo Sousa's side, who dominated for much of the game but failed to capitalise due a lack of quality in the final third.[LNB]Robins masterminded Barnsley's first victory of the season at Derby in midweek in his second game at the helm since replacing Simon Davey, but he was given a reminder of the task he faces at Oakwell as his side produced a lacklustre display.[LNB]Barnsley had lost five consecutive league games before winning at Derby and this was their first point at home.[LNB]The former Rotherham boss said: "We've got six of our more regular starters out with injuries. We've got injuries to key players.[LNB]"We've brought one or two in and we're looking to do some more business if we can do. We need some help certainly because when you look round there are lads on the bench who have not played."[LNB]He added: "We drop ourselves in it a little bit. We're looking for a little bit of composure and a little bit more in terms of trying to get forward and get beyond and make chances for ourselves."[LNB]Despite being disappointed with his side's lack of ambition, Robins was delighted to keep Swansea at bay.[LNB]"I'm pleased with the clean sheet and the whole team takes credit for that," he said.[LNB]"And I'm pleased with the return of four points from two games, which isn't a bad return."[LNB]Sousa refused to criticise his side for a lack of cutting edge after they failed to hit the net for the third consecutive game.[LNB]Barnsley struggled to live with the Welsh side's passing and movement, with Andrea Orlandi and Leon Britton particularly impressive in midfield.[LNB]But they were once again not rewarded for their dominance with goals as Dyer, Cedric van der Gun and Gorka Pintado all missed chances to secure what would have been only their second league win of the season.[LNB]Sousa said: "I'm very happy with the performance. I was pleased with the attitude, we kept the ball very well and I saw anger and a will to win from my players.[LNB]"We played good football with good personality. It's not easy coming here with a new manager and the crowd, we needed lots of spirit and personality."[LNB]The former Portugal midfielder is confident his side will start scoring freely before long if they keep playing as they have been in recent weeks.[LNB]He added: "Once we score, we will score a lot of goals. At the moment the ball isn't going in the net.[LNB]"It's not only today, but we must keep playing the same way. We work a lot, especially in the last third and I have confidence, it's only a question of when."[LNB][LNB]
