Monk targets return to Swans side
Monk has been ruled out of the last seven matches, but he is targeting a return either on Boxing Day or Bank Holiday Monday.[LNB]However, the 30-year-old concedes he may not be ready to play against both Reading and Crystal Palace in the coming days[LNB]"It's up to me to try and earn a place back in that team," he told the BBC.[LNB]"If I'm being honest I can't see me playing in both games but we will have to see what the manager thinks.[LNB]"I'm sure there will be some rotation somewhere in terms of freshness so I will have to make sure I'm ready if given the chance."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
