Monk: Swans a tough nut to crack

The Swans endured a difficult start to the season but the tide has turned and they have put together a seven-game unbeaten run in the Championship. Sousa was hampered by several injuries in the opening weeks of the season but Monk believes everything is fitting into place nicely with the former Portugal midfielder at the helm. He said: "We're on a good run at the moment and it's been coming. We were playing well earlier in the season but it just wasn't happening for us." He added: "In the last couple of seasons we were probably the most open team in the league, but the new boss has changed things tactically and now we're not conceding as many goals and keeping more clean sheets."
