Martinez waits on Scotland return

Swansea's 21-goal frontman played the full 90 minutes for Trinidad & Tobago against Honduras on Saturday and is expected to feature heavily against the USA on Wednesday night. But with a vital Championship clash against Cardiff on the horizon this Sunday, Martinez is hoping Scotland is used sparingly by the Soca Warriors. "It will be interesting to see what part Jason is going to have against the USA," he told the Swansea Evening Post. "He played 90 minutes against Honduras as that is good for his fitness levels, but it will help if he doesn't play another 90. "It's going to be a high-energy game on Sunday and all the players on the pitch need to be ready for that, so whether Jason plays on Wednesday night will have a big bearing."
