Martinez sings Swan Allen's praises
The 18-year-old has impressed Martinez since becoming a regular in the side in December, but was on the wrong end of a robust challenge from Ipswich midfielder Alan Quinn in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Tractor Boys at Liberty Stadium.[LNB]Martinez believes Quinn was lucky to escape a red card for an alleged elbow on the youngster.[LNB]He told the South Wales Evening Post: "When I saw it live, there was some doubt in my mind. But when I watched the replay, it was a clear red card.[LNB]"Teams might try it, but they will find it impossible. Joe is a level-headed boy who knows he has a great opportunity as part of a Championship team pushing for the play-offs.[LNB]"I try to challenge him more and more - I probably push him a bit too hard sometimes - but tactically he is very aware. If you are well aware, you will never get involved in what the opposition wants to throw at you."[LNB][LNB]
