Home advantage key for City boss
Both sides are vying to finish among the play-off places in the Championship and Jones believes the Bluebirds' supporters can help his team secure three points at Ninian Park.
He told the club's official website: "The game is important for us just as it is for Swansea. We'll have to compete with them and be at our best as
we have had to be all season to win matches.
"It's got all the ingredients of being a good derby game and there will be lots more passion and lots more noise.
"The tables are turned now though because this time we have more fans and we're expecting them to make all the noise.
"We'll have to use the whole squad now with four games in eight days coming up but now we can use the squad instead of pushing a player who isn't really ready as we've had to do before."
