Griffiths backing new Posh defence
Former Dagenham full-back Griffiths is one of three new signings expected to start on Saturday, with Ryan Bennett and Exodus Geohaghon also tasting Championship football for the first time under Mark Cooper.[LNB]But Griffiths told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "I wouldn't worry about us. We may have stepped up from smaller clubs, but there are a lot of very good individual players in the lower divisions who could cope with the Championship.[LNB]"Ryan Bennett has proved that already, while Exodus did well last week considering it was his debut in the Football League.[LNB]"Obviously it's a new defence and we have to get used to each other, but we are working hard together in training and I am confident we will become a solid unit.[LNB]"On a personal level it's gone well. I was keeping up with Premier League players last week against Middlesbrough which was very pleasing and I managed to find the time to set up a goal!"[LNB][LNB]
