Gower retains play-off ambition

The Swans followed up successive defeats to Crystal Palace and QPR with a club record 19th draw of the season at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, leaving them five points adrift of the top six. But Gower believes that they can still make the play-offs in the first season on the division if they can start turning the draws into wins. "It's not panic stations, but we have got six games left and I think we need to win five of them - we need 15 points from the six games," he told the South Wales Evening Post. "It's not a foregone conclusion. We are not out of it. "We are capable of putting at least three wins on the bounce. It's not over yet."
