Gower blow for Swans

Swansea will again be without Mark Gower for their home clash against Leicester after the midfielder was on Thursday ruled out for up to four weeks. Gower missed Tuesday`s goalless draw with league leaders QPR due to the hamstring tear he sustained in the 1-0 victory at Reading last weekend and will not play again until next month. David Cotterill stepped into the side in midweek but was replaced at half-time by Joe Allen, who is the likely frontrunner to start proceedings at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday having impressed from the bench. Cotterill`s first-half penalty miss, his second of the season, also means he is likely to be relieved of spot-kick duties, with Stephen Dobbie favourite to take over. Fellow midfielder Kemy Agustien (knee) is steadily building his fitness and could well feature for City`s reserves next week with a view to being in contention for the trip to Crystal Palace at the end of the month. Loan signing Marvin Emnes is still waiting for his debut after arriving from Middlesbrough on Monday.
