Shefki Kuqi is bidding to play a part in Swansea`s promotion push having returned from his three-month loan spell at Derby. The striker, 34, made 12 appearances for the Rams, scoring two goals, but he was back training in south Wales on Tuesday morning and with first-team minutes under his belt is looking to prove his worth to Brendan Rodgers. "I am pleased to be back," he told City`s official website. "I had a good spell at Derby, it was nice to play some games at a nice club. They do everything properly and you can see from their training facilities that they should really be in the Premier League. "But if I can get a chance to play for Swansea again, that would be great. Hopefully I will always be ready so that if the team needs me I will be able to help as much as I can."
