Dobbie feeling pressure to perform
The 26-year-old joined the Swans from Queen of the South earlier this summer and expected to form a partnership with last season's leading scorer.
But Scotland has since moved to Wigan, and with Gorka Pintado showing well in pre-season, Dobbie knows the heat is on him to show what he is worth.
"Strikers are always under pressure, and with Jason going, the manager talking about another striker and Gorka doing well the other day it's there already," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"Having said that, there's a while before the season starts and things really start getting serious and I am still finding my feet a little."
Dobbie opened his account for Paulo Sousa's side when he scored twice in the 6-1 win over Neath on Monday.
