De Vries welcomes international break

The promotion-chasing Swans have played two games a week for the last five weeks but now do not play again until the South Wales derby with Cardiff on April 5. And Dutch stopper de Vries admits that he and some of his team-mates are ready to put their feet up for a time ahead of the run-in to the end of the season. "It's a welcoming break," he told his club's official website. "For football players it's a more physical aspect with tired hamstrings and tight legs with the games coming thick and fast. "As a goalkeeper you're not that involved physically so you have to approach the break in a different way. You have to stay mentally prepared and focussed. "It's a welcome break to switch off mentally, get a good feeling and look forward to the Cardiff City game."
