Butler on comeback trail

Swansea winger Tom Butler emerged unscathed having played 90 minutes in his first appearance for a year as City`s reserves went down 1-0 at Swindon. Butler, who last featured for Swans` first team as a late substitute in a 3-1 home win over Barnsley last April, has endured a terrible 12 months with a troublesome thigh injury. But, speaking after Tuesday afternoon`s comeback at the County Ground, reserve-team boss Alan Curtis told City`s official website: "Tom played really well considering he`s been out for so long. "He started strong, tired a bit but then came good again at the end. You wouldn`t have thought he had been out for so long." The likes of Leon Britton, Craig Beattie, Andrea Orlandi, Albert Serran and Cedric van der Gun also featured in a game Swansea bossed for large spells but failed to take advantage, going down to Abdul Said`s close-range effort just before half-time.
