Britton upset with Sousa comments
Manager Paulo Sousa said last week that the 27-year-old had yet to sign a new deal that would make him one of the best paid players in Swansea's history.[LNB]But Britton, who is out of contract in the summer, is unhappy that his situation has been brought to light.[LNB]"I am surprised and disappointed the nature of my contract talks have been made public," he said. [LNB]"My advisor has been talking with the club since mid-September in what have been amicable and productive discussions.[LNB]"At the last round of talks it was agreed all further discussions be postponed until the end of the season so I can focus on my performances for the club."[LNB]Britton has made 317 appearances for Swansea since joining from West Ham seven years ago.[LNB][LNB]
