The Dutch midfielder played the final 21 minutes of the goalless draw with Bristol City after 10 months on the sidelines with a cruciate knee ligament problem.
Bodde has been sorely missed by the Swans but he is confident they will experience an upturn in fortunes after winning just one of their first seven Championship games.
"I'm really happy, it was nice to come back and get a good reception and I'm thankful to the crowd." Bodde told the club's official website. "If we keep playing like that and give that attitude, the points will come.
"I think we have more guts now and we have to put more trust in ourselves. If we keep playing like that and the crowd is joining in with us, we can be proud of ourselves and get the results."
