Bessone eyes regular Swans place

The Argentinean, 25, joined the Swans last summer from Espanyol B and has set his sights on a regular first-team berth.[LNB]"I would love to be the first-choice left-back," he told the South Wales Evening Post. "But we have a big squad with very good players who want the same.[LNB]"We have to be at the top of our game when we get a chance because the other guys can come in and play instead."[LNB]Bessone, who has made five appearances this season, admits he is only now showing his potential after the original culture shock of playing in the Championship.[LNB]"Last season was very difficult," he said. "I played in the Spanish Second Division before but it is a different kind of football. Here, it is very hard. There's a big focus on set-pieces and teams play a lot of long ball."[LNB][LNB]
