The Swans have not lost since their 3-2 defeat to Birmingham in November, and also knocked holders Portsmouth out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory at Fratton Park.[LNB]Martinez, who beat off competition from Dave Jones (Cardiff), Jim Magilton (Ipswich) and Paulo Sousa (QPR),[LNB]told Sky Sports News: "I think it's a fantastic achievement for our football club.[LNB]"Obviously I have to collect the award but it is in the name of Swansea City and all about the hard work of the players, the staff, the board and especially the fans. It's a great recognition and it will give us a great boost to go on and finish the season on a high.[LNB]"We knew that the work in pre-season and the first 20 games at Championship level were going to be vital to take the football club to the next level, and to peak in January was something that we planned.[LNB]"We are delighted but now the challenge is to keep these standards until the end of the season."[LNB][LNB]
