Agent: Scotland deserves better deal

The 30-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international, who has topped the Swans' scoring charts in the last two seasons, admitted earlier this week that he would be prepared to leave the Liberty Stadium after Swansea failed to make the Championship play-offs. But Mike Berry believes his client is prepared to postpone his top-flight ambitions and concentrate on getting there with Swansea, provided his contract is extended beyond the end of next season when it is currently due to expire. "I firmly believe that Swansea have got a jewel in Jason," Berry told the South Wales Evening Post. "It makes sense to me for them to offer him a deal which will keep him at the club for another three or four years. "To me, Jason at Swansea is a marriage made in heaven, so why let him go and then bring in an untried striker?"
