Zenden seals Black Cats deal

Bolo came in and it was immediately obvious that he is still supremely fit.[LNB]"Bolo's performances in training have persuaded me that he has a valuable role to play this season.[LNB]"He brings international class, a steadying influence and a wide breadth of experience.[LNB]"His career is a testament to his quality and he gives us more depth in central midfield which is a vital position."[LNB]Zenden has been signed in time to face his former club Liverpool on Saturday - but Sunderland are still waiting for his international clearance to come through.[LNB]The player himself was delighted to have sealed the deal.[LNB] "I got approached with a possibility of joining in at Sunderland to show my fitness," said Zenden.[LNB]"I had a chat with Steve Bruce on the phone and he told me to come over.[LNB]"We knew it would take a few days but quickly I had a positive feeling from both ways. It came about to sit down and see if we could come to a deal.[LNB]"There have been clubs interested but I never had the proper feeling. I am getting to a certain stage in my career and wanted to make the right decision.[LNB]"I wanted to make sure I did the right thing - everything I am looking for is here."[LNB]
