Zenden out to ruin Van der Sar day

olo Zenden is desperate to ruin Edwin van der Sar's day when his old friend visits Sunderland with Manchester United this weekend.[LNB] United will arrive at the Stadium of Light on Sunday hoping Chelsea have not won at Liverpool earlier in the day and established a four-point lead at the top of the table.[LNB]Whatever has happened at Anfield, United will be desperate to become only the third travelling side to win in the league on Wearside this season - Chelsea themselves and Aston Villa are the only teams to have done so to date - to ensure the fight for the big prize goes all the way to the final kick of the campaign.[LNB]Zenden will hope to play some part in the game, and the fact his fellow Dutchman Van der Sar will stand in his way makes little difference to him.[LNB]He said: "It will be good to see each other again. He is unbelievable. Him signing for another year at United and still playing at the top level is fantastic.[LNB]"I am really pleased for him and wish him all the best - but on Sunday, we will be doing our best to get a result.[LNB]"Mathematically, it is still possible to finish higher up the table, so we have plenty to play for."[LNB]Sunderland have bounced back from their mid-season slump to put together a much-improved run of results, and are promising United a tough test.[LNB]The Black Cats came within seconds of a famous victory at Old Trafford on October 3, when only Anton Ferdinand's late own goal denied them, and have already beaten Liverpool and Arsenal on Wearside this season.[LNB]Zenden told the club's official website: "The whole squad is looking forward to the game. The stadium will be a sell-out and we have done well at home.[LNB]"The good thing is United are still playing to win the title, so they have to come here and do something.[LNB]"But while they want to be champions, we want to get something good out of the game as well and finish in the top half."[LNB]Zenden, 33, is currently mulling over the offer of a further year at Sunderland after signing for 12 months following his departure from Marseille, although manager Steve Bruce is giving him time to consider his options.
