Youngster goes West

One way ticket to Carlisle As Sunderland prepare to off load several fringe players in the forth coming summer transfer window, one of them being 21 year old midfielder Jamie Chandler.  The South Shields lad is a product of Sunderland's youth academy, who was given a professional contract in 2007, but never played in Sunderland's first team and has been loaned out to local club Darlington since the start of this season.   Now training with Carlisle United in a desperate bid to gain a contract after being told by the Black Cats to find new club as he would not be offered another contract at the Stadium of Light.
