Sunderland new boy Dwight Yorke has vowed to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible after making his Black Cats bow in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City.
The 34-year-old, who moved back to England from Australian football just before the transfer deadline, played 75 minutes of the draw with the Foxes.
Afterwards, Yorke told the club's official website: "I need to get my match fitness back, it was three weeks since my last game.
"I'm not asking for too long, another game or two and I should be firing on all cylinders, but there is a lot more to come from me.
"I will be disappointed if I don't get myself on a run of scoring goals and creating chances for others."
