West Brom v Sunderland preview

West Brom play host to Sunderland on Saturday looking to maintain their slim hopes of survival.[LNB] The Baggies are rooted to the bottom of the table and are nine points adrift of safety with relegation back to the Championship looking more a case of when and not if.[LNB]Sunderland can take a big step towards safety with three points at The Hawthorns and in the process push West Brom closer to the trapdoor.[LNB]Last weekend's victory over Hull moved Sunderland four points clear of the drop zone and they will be looking for another three-point haul in the Black Country.[LNB]West Brom are missing key midfielder James Morrison as he has been ruled out with a niggling heel problem.[LNB]Better news on the injury front for Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is the return of defender Shelton Martis and striker Roman Bednar after groin and hamstring problems respectively.[LNB]Sunderland are boosted by the return of former Baggies ace Kieran Richardson after a calf injury.[LNB]Black Cats skipper Dean Whitehead is also back in the squad after shaking off a leg injury.[LNB]Nyron Nosworthy has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, while George McCartney is still absent.[LNB]Possible starting XIsWest Brom: Carson, Zuiverloon, Meite, Olsson, Robinson, Greening, Koren, Dorrans, Brunt, Bednar, Fortune.[LNB]Sunderland: Gordon, Bardsley, Ferdinand, Davenport, Collins, Richardson, Whitehead, Tainio, Reid, Cisse, Jones.[LNB]
