Sunderland defender Michael Turner will miss the first two games of next season after the FA extend his one-match ban.[LNB] The 26-year-old was dismissed on the final day of the season in the Black Cats' 2-1 defeat at Wolves last Sunday for a second bookable offence.[LNB] The FA has decided to extend the ban due to the player being sent off against Manchester City earlier in the season, with two red cards in one campaign activating a two-game ban as opposed to the standard one for being shown two yellow cards.[LNB] Turner served an extended four-match ban in the wake of a failed appeal against his dismissal against City in December.[LNB] Jack Colback, also dismissed on Sunday, will serve a one-match ban.[LNB]
