Town back in for Murphy
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has revealed Ipswich are back in for striker Daryl Murphy.
Ipswich have been chasing the Republic of Ireland international all summer as Roy Keane looks to be reunited with Murphy.
The move looked to be off last month after talks over a possible switch to Portman Road broke down.
However, Bruce confirmed Ipswich are still keen on the 26-year-old and that a deal could still happen before the close of the transfer window.
"Talks are ongoing as I understand it and we will just have to wait and see if these talks come to anything," said Bruce.
