Well it’s been a busy week for Henderson rumours, it all kicked off on twitter when it was present to the twitter faithful that Liverpool had actually placed a bid and had been accepted by Sunderland. It was quickly knocked down by “people in the know” saying that Henderson is not for sale, but this didn’t stop the rumour gaining momentum. Soon there was a write up on Sky Sports News website claiming that it was actually an official offer but that the Black Cats had knocked it back. Not long after this the kings of the premiership got dragged into the Henderson love-in, Manchester United in offering Wes Brown and Darron Gibson as exchange for the young midfielder. It doesn’t end here, no, there are now quotes in the press and on website that Bruce is not going to sell one of Sunderland’s prize assets, nor does Hendo want to leave his boyhood club.
