The Football.co.uk team of the week picks out some of the best performances of the weekend.
Crawley Town, the lowest ranked side left in the tournament faced Stoke City, while Arsenal travelled to Sunderland and Tottenham made the short trip to Stevenage on Sunday afternoon.

Colin Doyle (Birmingham City)
Doyle was Birmingham's cup hero during their trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Irish keeper who is only second choice for the Blues, got down well to save Juan Mata's first half penalty that kept his side in the game. His side reaped the rewards and secured a replay with Chelsea.

Scott Laird (Stevenage Borough)
It was a massive occasion for Stevenage as they went head-to-head with local giants Tottenham. Despite the dominance in possession Spurs failed to really test their opposition and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. The Stevenage back four were in inspirational form and none more so than left-back Scott Laird who can now look forward to the replay at White Hart Lane.

Ryan Nelsen (Tottenham Hotspur)
At the other end, New Zealand centre-half Ryan Nelsen was making his first start for Spurs. The 36-year-old acquisitions from Blackburn did not put a foot wrong and was dominant all afternoon against the League One club. Nelsen should prove to be a solid signing for Tottenham and useful player for the remainder of the season.

Michael Turner (Sunderland)
After losing the game in the dying minutes against Arsenal a week earlier, Sunderland were clearly determined to avoid a similar outcome. A defensive display that was in no mood for charity shut out the Arsenal attack, with Centre-back Michael Turner making crucial stops to deny the opposition and ensure they kept a clean sheet.

John O'Shea (Sunderland)
The Irish utility player was another who denied Arsenal a place in the quarter-finals. His outstanding defensive performance heaped more pressure on Arsenal as Sunderland progressed to the next round and they face Everton in the quarter-finals.

Richie Wellens (Leicester City)
The foxes managed to produce perhaps the shock of the round as they knocked out Premier League high flyers Norwich City at Carrow Road. The 31-year-old has been revived by new manager Nigel Pearson after a disappointing spell under Sven Goran Eriksson and repaid the faith shown in him by dominating the midfield for Leicester on Saturday.

Lee Cattermole (Sunderland)
Sunderland's captain was another who gave Arsenal a tough time on Saturday. His energetic fighting display is exactly what Arsenal are lacking at the moment. A key player in the middle of the park for Martin O'Neill's revitalised Sunderland team.

Marouane Fellaini (Everton)
The Belgian midfielder played in his team mate Royston Drenthe with a neat lay-off to put Everton ahead after less than a minute. Everton soon scored again and were on their way to the next round for only the second time in nine years.

Royston Drenthe (Everton)
His excellent finish from Fellaini's pass proved once again what the Dutch winger is capable of. Fans dont often know what to expect from Drenthe, but Everton fans are beginning to take to him. The crucial goal helped Everton into the quarter-finals where they will come up against Sunderland.

Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
His name has been in the press lately for all the wrong reasons but he finally got back to what he does best, scoring goals. His goal and all round performance in the 6-1 thrashing of Brighton on Sunday was just what he needed. Although things could have been better for the Uruguayan, had he not missed an 80th minute penalty.

Peter Crouch (Stoke City)
A win is a win especially in the FA Cup. It was far from pretty but Stoke got the job done against League Two side Crawley Town. With the lower league side applying pressure in the second half against the ten men of Stoke, Peter Crouch headed home to seal their passage into the next stage.
