Blackpool have attempted to scare off Charlie Adam's growing list of admirers by valuing him at £5million - 10 times the amount they paid for him just over five months ago.[LNB]Wigan and Birmingham head the queue of clubs ready to give his talents a Barclays Premier League stage, while Sunderland are also believed to be interested.[LNB]But Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has responded by placing a prohibitive price tag on him after seeing him emerge this season as one of the most dangerous attacking midfielders in the Coca Cola Championship.[LNB] Wanted man: Blackpool's Charlie Adam celebrates scoring[LNB]Holloway went out of his way to convince Adam to join Blackpool on a permanent basis at the beginning of August after an impressive loan spell by the 24-year old last season.[LNB]He managed to talk Blackpool's board into raising a club record £500,000 fee but still had to be at his persuasive best to win over Adam after the twice-capped Scotland midfielder initially indicated a preference for trying to salvage a future at Rangers.[LNB]Holloway's faith soon proved well founded as Adam made an immediate impact as a dead-ball specialist with a knack of timing his runs into the area to perfection.
