Sunderland defender in the clear. Police have confirmed that Sunderland defender Titus Bramble has been cleared of all charges, after being accused of rape on the 22nd of September this year, and there will be no further action taken against the 29 year old. Sunderland AFC where quick to stand by their player after speaking to him about the incident, Sunderland legend and chairman Niall Quinn commented "Hope those who condemned him without having the facts will offer their apologies."
