Sunderland's Anton Ferdinand back in the frame after burying the hatchet with Steve Bruce

Anton Ferdinand has been brought in from the cold at Sunderland after Steve Bruce confirmed he had buried the hatchet with the defender. [LNB]Ferdinand fell out with Bruce last month in a row over a hamstring injury the player was suffering with.[LNB]The training-ground bust-up looked to have ended the 25-year-old centre back's Stadium of Light career, but Bruce revealed that the pair had made their peace and that the ex-West Ham defender is now challenging for selection.
