Sunderland hit by new Gordon blow

Sunderland and Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon will miss the start of the new season after breaking an arm.Gordon fractured a bone after falling awkwardly in training and had surgery on Thursday to repair the damage. The 27-year-old, who suffered a similar injury last season, is set to miss the beginning of Scotland's Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
