Sunderland defence looking solid

Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon believes that their recent improvement in form is down to being able to field a relatively settled back four.After Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City, in which Gordon played a starring role, Steve Bruce's Wearsiders have now lost just once in seven games. "It can help us if we can keep everybody together," said Gordon, 27. "If you get a solid back four and goalkeeper playing together you get an understanding," he told BBC Newcastle.
