Sunderland close in on capture of Wolves striker Steven Fletcher

Sunderland are hoping to clinch a ?12million deal for former Scotland striker Steven Fletcher this week. Wolves have accepted an improved offer for the 25-year-old which could be worth ?15m with add-ons. On the move: Sunderland have agreed fee for Steven Fletcher Fletcher scored 12 goals last season and was the No 1 summer target for Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill, who could be without Stephane Sessegnon for the start of the season.
