Sunderland Flop Back In England

23 January 2013 18:39
Louis Saha has returned to England to consult with his family over a potential move to Bidvest Wits.

The Frenchman has been in South Africa, ‘sussing out’ the club for a potential six-month deal before his current contract with Sunderland expires at the end of the season.

Wits CEO Jose Ferreira has confirmed that the former Fulham and Manchester United striker has returned home, and he will now have just over a week to get his family’s blessing before the transfer window shuts closed at the end of the month.

Sunderland and Bidvest Wits have ties through the Invest in Africa programme, the logo of which the Black Cats where on their playing shirts.
