Steve Bruce lines up 5m Chris Kirkland to replace Craig Gordon at Sunderland

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is weighing up a £5m offer to his old club Wigan for goalkeeper Chris Kirkland. Bruce is still unsure about Craig Gordon, a £9m signing under Roy Keane, and Kirkland ranks highly on his list of possible replacements.
