Steve Bruce to give Carlisle help

Carlisle has been given an open door to Sunderland young reserves. Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott has been given an open invite to Sunderland's young up coming stars, for the North-West club to take reserve team players on loan. Greg Abbott said, “The more links you can have with Premier League clubs the better and we have made rapid strides in that respect with the likes of Newcastle and Sunderland who have been very good to us. “Steve Bruce at Sunderland has been absolutely brilliant as he knows this level and what it means to people like myself and the fans of Carlisle." Sunderland have the had the AOL paying off over the last two seasons providing the likes of now first team players Jordan Henderson and David Meyler, with many other promising young stars to follow.  Getting league games experience to some of younger players is by far more beneficial than playing in the reserves.  As for Newcastle helping Carlisle, its more likely that Newcastle will be loaning from Carlisle's reserve players for there first team.
