Some relief from Sunday's loss.

Things aren't as bad as they look. First off big John Mensah has had his red card taken back, after one of many bad refereeing points by Kevin Friend on Sunday.  Mensah was sent off for challenging Liverpool’s new diving champion Luis Suarez, the world known cheat may as well of refereed the game himself as man in black (well blue for Sundays game) seemed do as he was told, when the Uruguayan International hand baller told him to jump he said how high.  John the Rock Mensah is now free to face Man City if he can shake off a minor strain in time, thanks to the English FA’s point in seeing sense. Kieran Richardson was taken off in the first half due to a pulled hamstring but has now shown up as a minor issue after tests and should be available for Sunderland’s next game. Anton Ferdinand who played on through pain barrier made training today, completing the whole day with no problems. Muntari who as well as Richardson was taken off in the first half with a knee problem has joined his club and international team mates Gyan and Mensah in Nairibi, Ghana’s physios will take good care of the midfielder in a bid to be fit for the forth coming international friendly’s. It’s not as good news for Mr Consistent Phil Bardsley currently having a tremendous season so far, had to play on with a knee injury after Sunderland used up all three subs.  Which will have only made his knee problem worse, Bardo will miss Scotland’s forth coming international games and is highly likely to not be fit for Sunderland’s trip to Manchester.
