Shrimpers sign French defender
Southend have signed French defender Jean-Yves M'voto on a six-month loan deal from Sunderland.
The former France Under-19 international moved to the Stadium of Light in January 2008 from French outfit PSG, but is yet to make an appearance for the Black Cats.
The 20-year-old is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's game with Huddersfield and will hope to gain some valuable experience during his time at Roots Hall.
"I am here to gain valuable experience and hope I can offer the team something," M'voto told the club official website.
